Willamette Valley, Oregon
FRESH FROM THE SOIL, STRAIGHT TO YOUR SEED
A farm-to-table dining room where the menu is written each morning around what the fields gave us — and served by candlelight when the sun goes down.
Seasonal Menu
From the season’s harvest
Our menu follows the fields — vegetables at their peak, pasture-raised meats, and fruit picked ripe. Changed often, never rushed.

Why Soil & Seed?
Good food begins in good soil
We partner with twelve family farms within thirty miles of the kitchen. Everything on your plate was in the ground this week — nothing flown in, nothing forced.
Field-first ingredients
Harvested at dawn, on your plate by dusk — our produce never sits in a truck.

Menus written daily
The kitchen follows the season, never a script. The menu is rewritten each morning.

Rooted in community
A third of our produce comes from the acre of kitchen garden just behind the dining room.

Good to know
Questions, answered
A few things guests ask before they join us — answered the way we would across the table.
Do you take reservations?
Yes — and we recommend it. The room is small and weekends fill early. Reserve online in under a minute, or call us on a quiet afternoon.
Can you cook for dietary needs?
Happily. The menu is written each morning, and almost every dish can bend. Tell us when you book and the kitchen will plan around you.
Do you host private gatherings?
One long table, one fire, one evening — from eight to forty guests. See Private Dining, or write to gatherings@soilandseed.com.
Where does the food come from?
From our own fields and from neighboring farms we know by name. Nothing on the plate travels more than twenty miles from where it grew.
Are children welcome?
Always. We keep a short menu for younger guests, seeded each morning from whatever the kitchen is already cooking.
